Julie Beemer
Julie grew up in the Southwestern states of New Mexico and Arizona. At the age of five her parents divorced causing her mother and three small children to begin a new life alone. A local Baptist pastor and his wife were going door to door when they came to Julie's door. From the time Rev. Paeden visited her, Julie's family were in church every time the doors were open. Julie's mother was a teacher, leader, organizer and helper in every area of this little church.
At five years of age Julie walked down that Baptist church isle to receive salvation. Some time later, her mother enrolled her, her younger sister and brother into a Christian School that was an outreach of an independent, spirit filled church. Because they were attending the school they felt they should also attend the church. However, Julie was sure to let the pastor know she didn't believe in speaking in other tongues. After many conflicting talks with the pastor and searching the Scriptures concerning The Baptism in The Holy Spirit her heart was softened and she was filled with the Holy Spirit at age 16. After receiving the Holy Spirit the Bible came alive to Julie. She still has the Bible where she underlined nearly all of Deuteronomy as the Word of God shown forth in a new light.
Another key event in Julie's life came while attending an Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) convention. One night there was an invitation for those who felt called to full time service, it was then that Julie first remembers committing her life to full time service for God. As a young girl she would often pray to be a pastors wife. Later in life she spent much of her prayer time praying for the nations of the world. She would pray using the alphabet, A ...Argentina, B ...Brazil, C ...Canada, etc. Little did she realize she would one day be a pastor's wife in another country reaching out to the nations of the world.
After graduating from High School Julie attended a local college to study music, vocals and piano, and was very involved with community events. She competed in local beauty pageants during which she was very vocal about her beliefs. God gave her tremendous success in all she did as she openly gave Him the glory.
After graduating from two years of college in her hometown she moved to Phoenix to attend Grand Canyon University. After her first semester she again realized Gods Calling and decided to attend Masters Commission. This one-year discipleship program is a part of Pastor Tommy Barnett's Phoenix First Assembly of God, a church of 12,000 in Phoenix, Arizona. Masters Commission emphasizes training young people in many aspects of ministry and Julie benefited from many diverse experiences.
After Masters Commission she became Youth Pastor at the same church she received the Holy Ghost back in her hometown. It was during this time that while praying the word, "Oklahoma" dropped into her heart. She thought she was supposed to go back to University and finish her degree at Oral Roberts University. After a few wrong turns getting to Oklahoma and a series of God inspired "divine contacts" Julie found herself, not only enrolled at RHEMA Bible Training Center, but an employee of Kenneth Hagin Ministries and living at Student Housing!
After graduating from RBTC she planned to go to Zaire, Africa on a 3-month mission trip. However, due to upheaval in the country she was stopped in London. When she returned to Oklahoma she began to date Matt. After his graduation from RHEMA they were married and moved to Michigan where Julie began working in a community Hair Salon and oversee the children's program at Harvest Bible Church.
In 1996 God gave Julie one of her biggest desires - she became a mom. Jonathan Noble was born in Liverpool and after moving to Manchester and starting World Harvest Bible Church God blessed the Beemer's with their second child, Elisabeth Grace. More recently the Beemer's have adopted another child, Desmond, who is now their oldest son.
