News and Announcements

Faith Camp
Alan & Claire are looking forward to a great week at faith camp, spending time with those who are coming, as well as having lots of fun. If you are coming expect great things from God as you give Him this week of your year. If you haven't booked in, why not come along and join us on the Sunday. You will find us on unit 26.

Family Services during August
Throughout August, we will be celebrating together as a family, the services will be shorter and family friendly with worship, fun and teaching for all ages. We want to say a big thank you to all our children's and youth workers for their dedication and hard work.

No inspire in August
There will no evening services, and no inspire during August to give everyone a break and get recharged and refreshedin time for the next exciting season at WHBC!

Covenant groups
During the summer some of the covenant groups will continue and some may choose to have a break, however this is a great month to get together as a family and enjoy the great outdoors! Why not organize a BBQ and invite friends and neighbours as well, and tell them about the wonderful things that God is doing.

Time to be trained
Time to be trained! We live in exciting times and we need to be ready for whatever God asks us to do. Sometimes we feel totally inadequate and yearn to know more about God, His Word and His plan for our lives. WHBTC is a great place to train with anointed teachers from home and abroad. Our weekend and evening courses enable you to maintain your working life as well as attending Bible College. We are now recruiting for the new intake in September. You can begin Level 1 at either @weekend or @night, Level 2 intake is for the @night course only. Pick up an Application Pack today!

Helen Woodcock - Open House
Open day with Helen Woodcock. 29th July from 3 - 9pm at Helen's house. If you interested in hearing about her recent Zimbabwe trip, she will be showing pictures and feeding back on her experiences, as well as outlining her plans for the next visit. Please contact Helen on 07961 118278 for directions.

Thank You!
We would like to Thank all the Students from KF who have been here serving in the church over the past 5 weeks. We have really appreciated all your hard work in so many areas and events! The graduation Youth, Go Kids, Relevant conference Cafe Logos, Outreach, Painting, Sanctuary project, and probably more! You've really gone the extra mile and are an example to us all, THANKYOU!!!

WHBTC

Faith 2010, it's not too late to book! We'd love to see you at Faith Camp 2010. A week to spend with your church family, having fun, building relationship and having a fresh encounter with God. Mission to North Africa
What a fantastic opportunity our youth have in going on this mission, please remember to pray for Abbey, Bex, Stephen and Dan as they discover what it is like to be a missionary in Africa. Pray for protection and unity within the group, as well as opportunities to witness boldly!

FFWD Summer BBQ

News and Announcements

Guest Speakers
Next Sunday Pastors Jeff and Beth Jones will be with us, together with their family who will also be ministering in GoKids and FFWD. Their church is a dynamic, thriving, fast growing church in Kalamazoo. Beth Jones is the author of Getting a Grip on the Basics. They will be ministering at both our services.

Two Weeks of Prayer
This year instead of one week, all the churches will be praying for 2 weeks. It's a great opportunity to pray as the whole body of Salford, expecting to see a change in our area. You can get involved by praying at home, prayer walking or attending the prayer event at Salford Council Chambers on Wednesday 14th July. Sign up at the info table to pray for an hour in the 2nd week as part of the 24/7 prayer.

Glenn House Prayer
From Mon 12th to Thurs 15th, come and join us in the church offices from 12pm-1pm to pray for Salford. This will be followed by another hour of prayer walking around the area the detached work is in. Come for 1 hour or 2, put the dates in your diary and let's see Salford change as we advance this year.

Praying at the Hub
Come and join all the churches in Salford at the Council Chambers, Salford Civic Centre, Swinton for the Main Joint Prayer Event for the 2 Weeks of Prayer for Salford on Wed 14th July at 7.30pm. We are called to pray for those who govern and lead our cities and what better place to do this than at the hub of Salford. The Mayor and Mayoress of Salford will host this meeting.

Relevant Conference
It is our privilege to host the first Rhema UK and I conference this week and we are looking forward to welcoming all those attending. Please pray for Pastors Matt and Julie as they lead this conference and for the work of Rhema in the UK and Ireland.
