Finally in Arkansas!
well it was a tough journey - 6 hours and then some - but we got here, and everybody's still ok!
you should be able to see some new pictures uploaded...and a few videos too!
heres a video from a couple of days back, at Pastor Michael Moore's church in Alabama. take a look!
and heres some rodeo footage from last night in Louisiana, check out the little kids knocking themselves over!
and here's some testimonies!
Sylvia – I love America, the wide open spaces, beautiful trees and the air is so crisp and sharp. The people are very warm and friendly. Creflo Dollar’s church was amazing. I really love Georgia I’d be very happy to live here I’m on the lookout for a strong Word of Faith man to sweep me off my feet.
Karen – its great to be back again – every year its different and exciting to see and hear the student’s reactions as they tour all these wonderful churches. We’d only been here a day and someone said they felt like they’d already been here a week – we like to cram so much in. God has been in charge of every aspect of this trip and its been a great team where everyone is getting along really well.
Julie – Hi sweetheart I want to come home – not really but I don’t want you to know how much fun I’m having – I’m sorry I’m not able to keep your regime on the road – we’ve stopped every rest area from Atlanta to Alabama – everyone loves me!! Since this is my first time coming on M America, even I am impressed with the churches that we are seeing so many things that I know we could do, but even better – I’m really looking forward to finishing our Go Kids studio so that our children will love coming to learn about Jesus.
Just being in the US makes me love Manchester even more, God bless Manchester. – and I miss you and the children – can’t wait to be home.
Jane Fern - This has been a wonderful experience for me. So far we have visited 4 very different churches and met some lovely people. The people we have met have made us exceedingly welcome. I have had home made American pancakes for breakfast.- and they were gorgeous. The country is very beautiful and people are very interested in what we are doing. I have learnt a new word ‘ding’ which is a dent in a vehicle. We will see you all soon, love you loads Jane F.
Pauline Tabner - Hello everyone. Excellent from the word go. Everyone is sooo friendly, interested and enthusiastic and have made time for us. We stayed in a lovely house of Miss Bettys right next to the lake and visiting some huge fantastic churches. Only been here two days and feel like I have been here a week. Having lots of fun and being very stretched. Love Pauline.
Rosie - The best thing has been seeing all the scenery and the way that people live. The lifestyle is so different because everything is so spaced out and big here. Seeing the churches has been an eye-opener and the food has been great!
Michael - howdy. we’ve just left Scott Webb’s church in Birmingham, which was really nice. the weather is getting better, still a bit chilly. food is good and the people are very welcoming and friendly, as expected. check out sowersclub.org for on-the-road pictures and videos!
Jane. A - Hi Guys, ok, this Country is just too big! Creflo Dollars church was incredible, from the size of the Dome sanctuary to the fitness centre with preaching videos playing while you exercise, everything was excellent. I believe God created this Nation just to give us a picture of His vastness and display His greatness. The last church we visited sold speciality coffees, Starbuck’s style, before and after the Sunday services-what do you think!!!!
Annie B. - What can I say… I’m blessed!!! Being here and visiting different Churches has enlarged my vision. I am inspired by the children’s ministries here and cannot wait to come back home to start implementing some of these ideas. Just remembering that it’s all about Jesus and not me…
Kim - Amazing! Every church has a different vision and its own personality and they are all equally as good in their own ways. I love the excellence! They give importance to making church appealing to people and giving them a reason to walk through the doors – I love their innovative ideas such as midweek dinner services, excellent children’s and youth ministries, gyms and one church is building a bowling alley! Still trying to get my head round how big everything is here.
Rachel - It has been a privilege to witness what God is doing in another country. The churches we have seen have been big and beautiful but what impressed me the most was the way they were reaching out to people in the community many providing services and facilities for those in need, passing on the goodness of God to others. They are so blessed to have acres of ground surrounding their churches, which is something we don’t get back in England.
Wayne - In America they like eating Chicken. I have also eaten lots of chicken and am looking forward to sampling some grits. Anyway we have all seen some amazing churches and heard about some fantastic visions. It’s good to talk to people in the US and humbling to listen to the many testimonies of how God has and is moving. What is happening here is evidence that God does move in very mighty ways. In anticipation of what God is about to do at WHBC.
Rowena - This trip is a good revelation for us to see the God’s given capacity and potentiality to mankind to be a world changer. Americans are changing the world.( See what Pastor Matt and Pastor Julie are doing in England) We can do it too because we have the same God that we believe on. God bless!
David - What a wonderful experience it is amazing to witness such glorious moves of God. I sense a need to freely give, as it is more blessed to give than to receive. Surely the reason for such growth is the people’s heart to give, seeking gods kingdom first, because we know our own needs are already fully met, praise god.
Patricia - This experience has been excellent, once again I’m touched by the wonderful hospitality and impressive churches – so much of what we’d like to see in England. Slept in a train last night and rode a horse for the first time – watch out John Wayne!!!! Hello Dayo, Tayo and mum!!

Finally I get to communicate with the outside world - The Sat-nav worked great, the hardest part was getting Pastor Julie to trust it but we didn't get lost once - now that's the 'working of miracles' with 2 ladies in charge! Don't worry Sarah I didn't shoot anyone just a bale of straw - it survived. Gordon - miss you sweetie - I'll be back soon and this time I'm bringing my gun!!!

Tell Lee and Victoria HI!!
Hi Roy! we are taking wonderful care of your Jane!! Wish you all were here. She and all of us are eating like you wouldnt believe. WE will definately be rolling back home. Today at 2 we ate lunch and then toured the 180 and ORU then immediately went and had steak American style. Pure gluttony! Our van can barely hold us all

Hello everyone, can't wait for y'all to get back. Jane i hope you learn loads more American slang we can use when we minister to the youth. Everything went well this sunday the older youth are very gifted and they did another play for us. David there is something in your message re:the community that is in line with something have I been thinking about this week. So we are all apart but not very. enjoy yourselves just don't do everything so we can try some new things when we go next year.

hi roy, nice to read your blog. America is really nice. The people are lovely everyone has been so kind to us and made us all feel at home. The ladies restrooms have taken us out of our comfort zone a bit, we are not used to high gaps at the bottom of doors and gaps down either side of the door. We dont know where to look when we go in, we find we are looking at the ceiling or talking to the person next to you just to keep from looking at the loos. I havnt learnt any more strange words like ding yet, and I dont think any of us have said anything we shouldnt have done. See you soon. say hello to lee, rob, victoria, lou and minie. To all at church we will be back, we are all receiving and ready for going up a level, stepping out into new assignments.
