2020 Vision
The Sowers Club '2020 Vision' is to recruit, equip and mobilise 1000 missionaries by the year 2020.
Since 2002 when the Sowers Club was relaunched, the vision has developed extensively to include…
1. mobilizing the world-wide church toward the Great Commission.
2. Equipping and assisting ‘Word of Faith’ bible school graduates and experienced ministers to get to, and be effective in, the mission field of their hearts leading.
3. Educating and encouraging the global church to be smarter (more effective) in its approach toward missions.
4. Provide better service and care to missionaries, providing the benefits of a ‘co-oprative’ approach.
5. Challenge the perceptions of what it means to be a missionary, and redefining missions as a desirable life calling.
6. Develop support for projects and missionaries who are doing ‘smart missions’ work among the most unreached places in the world.
7. Create and provide resources that facilitate, promote and fund the above.
